Andonios Lithoioannis asked:

So what makes God so irresponsible to put a Tree of Knowledge in His Garden when He knew, that EVENTUALLY a man or a woman would eat from it. Why not, I dunno, not put it in the reach of creation of limited perception and understanding?

What happened to the tree? Wouldn’t it still exist with the flaming sword still guarding it?

Free will supposedly, even though he knew that Eve would have taken the bait anyway, so it really wasn’t that “free”. Just another one of the many things that isn’t very well thought out at all in the Bible.

After reading the top question I’m worried about your thought pattern and how you even thought of that. The Tree or Garden is thought to be under salt water now.

As long as that baby is a true believer, God won’t let any harm come to it when drinking poison, or so the delusion says. Haven’t seen anyone with enough faith to test that one though.

Adam and Eve were not babies, they were adults who fully knew what they were doing and were well aware that death would be the consequences of sin.

God gave them a free will choice to either obey him or defy him. For this to be a real choice there needed to be something real for them to choose from.

God knew in advance what choice they would make which is why he provided the means for mankind to be redeemed and saved.

Presumably the Garden of Eden was destroyed in the flood so neither the tree or the sword would have existed after that.

Adam and Eve were created perfect with the perfect will to choose. They chose to disobey. Yes, God knew this would happen yet He already had a plan from the very beginning. The plan was that He would show His love by coming to earth as a man and die in our place so that we may attain life once again. God did want man to become like Him but not in the way Satan presented it to them. Satan presented it in a way that would make them rebel against God the way he had. God wanted obedience and then He would have given them to eat from the tree of life. Instead they chose to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The tree is not guarded by angels it is still here. We see it everywhere. Good and evil come from the same tree and many times men get caught up in good works when really it’s just a disguise. The tree of Life is what is guarded with a flaming sword until it was released in the birth of Jesus Christ. He is our Tree of Life. The same way God killed an animal and then covered Adam and Eve with it’s cloak He came to cover us with His righteousness through the shedding of His own blood.
